BKT-3 My First Becker

Finally found the battery charger for the camera! Here's my first Becker the Tac Tool. Amazed by the heft. It's Bombproof Rock solid! Already posted the first night it got here we did an informal chop off with my neighbor vs. his machete and a khukri. Needless to say even though gave up some in length the Becker gave nothing away in performance and it kept up chop for chop and even blew away the machete in the one chop one kill branch test. Clean through.

As DerekH suggested I leave the scales alone so just wrapped it with camo tape and made a lanyard. The knots are so I can remember which one to pull to adjust

The thing I love about this knife is that when you pull it out, there is no question that it is open for business. I want one just for the "Holy DAMN" factor when you whip it out. It is on my seemingly ever growing list of things I want to pick up.

If you strip the grind, it makes it SO much better of a cutter. It makes it look all kinds of bada$$ too. However now that I've stripped mine, I'm thinking of being TOTALLY Ign'ant and painting the grind pink with duracoat and baking it.

The Bk3 is really an awesome tool...I bought one for my Bug out Bag, that I traded to another BH not too long ago...I guess I didn't know what I had till it was gone..I ended up getting another Camillus BK3 for a song, so it's back in the family.
