Black Aftermath

I was wondering if anyone knows any thing about the Camillus Aftermath in a black finish. I know that the Madd Maxx 7.0 was model not found in their Catalog and that this was a limited production run item.

I found a Couple of Camillus Aftermaths in black at http://www.bladematrix.tv/index.asp?...D&ProdID=39567 and according to the them they're a Black titanium nitride coating.

My question is how many of these were made?And why the Black finish?


Also I wanted to tell anyone interested in purchasing an Aftermath that there are two more left at Bladematrix at a reasonable $315.00 ea

The Camillus Aftermath is an excellent knife. At the time, it was arguably one of the best production knives going. However, it was fairly expensive to make and after the initial run, sales dies off. To help get rid of remaining stock, Camillus had the knives finished in Black Nitride and some of them were serrated. Since the knife was out of production, this was not included in the catalog. I am not sure how many were done like this.
