Black and Blue Persistence

I had some Ridgeline Blue left over from another job so guess what......yep....my persistence got some blue liners and clip.

I think that this is the first phase of this project blade.....I think I will add white to the blade and red to the handle and make it a patriotic blade.

While a patriotic knife would be really cool, I just wonder if it is going to be too much. Right now it looks good with the color offset between the blue and black, although I'm not sure if I like the clip in blue.

Good job tho, looks good :thumbup:
 
good points....only one way to find out though! ;)

Great thing is....if I don't like it I can take it back down and do something else since I have all the equipment and materials.
 
I would leave it like that. Or get a black blade with the same color scheme. Looks real nice tho.
 
I dont think the red, white, and blue would work as its the wrong color blue.

I agree with the poster who suggested a black blade would look great with just the way you have it now. Does that even knife come with a blade blade???
