Black and orange?

To The RAT:

1) Any chance of a black blade/orange slabbed RC4?
2) Any chance that a black blade/orange slabbed RC4 could be a special run for the WSS Survival kit that Spark is setting up?

1) I doubt it. Too many combinations and line items. We will probably stick to OD for the blade color on the orange handle models. But again, we never say never

2) For sure. Since it would be a special one time run for BladeForums, we would be willing to do that. But you would have to get everyone to agree on one color combo and my bet is they will want OD and orange instead of black/orange. Of course, I've been wrong many times in the past

ANOTHER friggin combination?? (actually, wouldn't it be easy, since you already make black blades, to just put the orange handle on and size them?).

You know what?

I'm going to stick to my guns and buy the OD/Orange one when it comes out and build my own damn kit (unless the one for the kit has some cool, special engraving since it's a limited run).

And my own damn kit is going to be better than his own damn kit because. . .

. . .because it's probably going to be in a Kifaru or Maxpedition bag because I still need something MOLLE to strap my friggin knives I haven't bought yet to!!!!!!!

Not to mention I may have just spent my OT pay this week pulling the trigger on a friggin' 20.5" BOWIE knife from HI (which I'll have to rig a carry system onto my canvas and leather backpack because a traditional Bowie knife in a leather scabbard just looks wrong on that MOLLE pack my credit card's eyeing right now). . . .
