black and tan/ black and white micarta

Does anyone know where I can find black and tan (or black and white, I have seen it called both on different knives) micarta?

and if you want to try it black and tan should not be too hard to make
are you looking for straight grain of damascus looking let me know as i have made some and do have some left from a batch

Butch- I have never gotten to work w/ the damascus micarta yet, but it does look interesting. I may contact you soon if all works out like it should. Thanks for the help!

I however just cant seem to get it right!<~~~GRRRRR!!!

i hope you dont think i never had to trash any that i made thats just part of doing it
also how much epoxy do you think i pressed out of the first batches making sure i had plenty in there :D ooo then theres the other part that i used too little and had air and all kinds of voids

you will get it work in small batches and work you way up as you get the hang of it
 
Hey jbcustomknives I will return your email tonight. Butcher is right. Work on some small batches and get a feel for it and then expand from there. It took me about 3 month and over two gallons of epoxy to realy figure out what I was doing and make something that I thought someone might like on a knife. It doesn't take that long to make some good stuff as long as you don't try every silly idea that pops into your head...which I did.
