Black and tan???

People have a hard time describing black and tan as it applies to Busse G-10 handles. I like to think it looks like the color of sharkteeth.

From what I have seen, the tan has a pretty wide range of shades.

In the Black & Tan G10 I've seen, the tan is pretty well white; not a bright white, but lighter than beige and having a slight gray cast, perhaps an eggshell. There is another color of G10 they call Coyote that's an actual black and brown combo; is it possible that you're thinking of that as also being Black & Tan?

I'm colorblind, and every black and tan I've ever seen looked black and white to me. I'm always afraid to buy a strange color combination, thinking I might get pink or purple and not realize it

I had to show this image since you were talking about Black&Tan. I got an ASH-1 just like this from BillCutting (author of this thread) just the other day. I can't beleive how FAT this thing is. Now the favorite of any of my Busse's. I had to show an image from Ken Lunde's wall paper page as my cam-fu skills are nothing compared to his.

Yeah I cant believe I sold that thing!!!! But, it paid for a huge chunk of my incoming LMT Ar-15 so it was worth it!!!

Sharks tooth is a great analogy!

I've had them run that gamut in shading... Both of these are "black and tan."

Those are both sweet. And it is a perfect example of the different shades of Black & Tan. Pretty much sums up the two extremes. I prefer the whiter shade of tan myself.

I had to get one of those Rodent Wakis as well after fondling it at blade. Black and red g-10's with a plan to strip it to a satin finish.
