Black Bear Hunting

Went out for the long weekend with two of my sons. Youngest scored his first bruin. It was not the biggest but he was very happy. Rained most of the time, but had nice weather the last day at the campsite.All in all well worth it, great time for dad and the boys. 1down, 2 more to go.
Oh yeah - knife content
Dad Outdoor edge kodi-skinner and sog revolver for chores
Oldest boy - Little Hen Knives puko, and a Bill Siegle chopper for chores
Youngest lad - Old Western skinner and a Sog pentagon FB for chores

Congrats to your son on his first bruin. Raise your kids to hunt and you won't have to hunt for them.My son is 24 now and my biggest pleasure in life is hunting with him!

great start-- bears can be hard to come by. ole timers said bear grease made the best pies & biscuits ever. nothing wroung with bear meat--sometimes need it well cooked due to worms.
