just finishing up a cleaver that was ordered
cpm154 Rc62
4.5x9 inch blade thats 3/32 at the spine and fully flat beveled edge to spine
i ll work on gettign a few more good pictures for different views

That's a really nice piece, Butch! I bet that would be a joy for making "see-through" veggie slices.

The composited handle is very classy. Nice mill work and fitting.
 
grinding it wasnt too bad you jsut ahve to take you time and grind at different angles to keep things flat for when you get tot hand sanding
time time time thats all
should cut like the devil tho
 
Damn that's sweet! :eek: Hopefully in about 50 years from now I might be able to grind that. NOT!:mad:
 
I'll second that on the handle....never seen anything like that. The wood and the micarta are gorgeous together. Looks very classy and sophisticated.
 
the handle was alittle stressful as i had to mill and grind and fit and shape and fit........
thanks guys i want to try something in blue jeans and birds eye maple next i think (blond in tight shorts ahhahahah)
