Black canvas?

I'd like to make a set of scales for one of my revolvers to match the black canvas handle of my TGLB. Anybody know where a guy could a couple pieces that are big enough to do it? All the pieces I've seen for sale on line are only big enough to make knife handles and the revolver in question is a big single action so I'd probably need to start with some pieces that are about 4"x5".

That's a good idea. I'd kill to get a nice set of Busse g-10 grips for my S&W revolvers. Have you considered making your own micarta? It's not all that complicated and it'd add to the made-with-your-own-hands pride factor.
