black clips for the c36, c55, ect

Titan had emailed me on this subject, so i thought i'd better post it. His question was regarding the availibility on black clips for the Military, Starmate (my favorite knife of late), & our soon to be released "Native Chief" (or whatever we decide to call it). As i recall in an earlier thread about a month ago, Sal had satted that will we will eventually make black clips for the C35 & C55, they will not be available anytime soon. Regarding the Native... All the proto's had silver clips, & because of the width of the handle, the black clips used for our lighweight knives are too narrow to use. Currently we have no plans to make a black clip for the Native... (when i talk w/ sal today, i'll know more). I will keep all of you posted. Clips (& screws) are being processed (blackened) at this time. I'll check for scheduled shipping of black clip versions.

Are the clip's of the C-55 Starmate and the C-35 Military exchangeable?

Red Mag - I think they will because of the hole pattern, but putting a Military clip on a Starmate wouldn't look right because the Military's clip is curved a bit to match the handle's curvature.

Hi Dexter!
I know that the c-36 clip is curved and that's why I want to try one. When I open my c-55 I feel the need for a little more space for my index-finger to get a good grip.
I would have tried already, but my c-36 is the old version with the straight clip (2 screws).

I could go for some black clips for the C-36 Military. The chromed ones are nice, but a little too flashy
