Hi ,Who makes a nice Black Coated Blade under 3" (Folder) it seems the nice ones are a hair bigger .Thanx

The Gerber AR 3.00 is in that range w/ a black coated blade. It can be had for under $30 Also the CRKT m16-02 military is in that range as well. If you want a more expensive one check out the Benchmade 705BT it has a 2.95" blade and can be had for under $100

Or the Benchmade 705, although their black coating is less than amazing. But, then again, any teflon-based coating will wear pretty easily.

Mick, if you're on a budget, the Gerber AR 3.00 is ideal. I don't know if Lowe's (Home Improvement Store) has stores in Pennsylvania, but they stock them here where I live for about $40. They are good, very sharp little knives.

Check out the Benchmade 450 Park Avenue folder. It has a Boron Carbide charcoal colored blade under 3 inches.
Benchmade also has the Mini-Stryker in BT2.
