Black "Desert Dagger" ??????

I don't lay claim to knowledge on every single SOG Knives model; but this black Desert Dagger is the first I've heard of in years.
For a start the sheath looks more of a Chinese made; and adsolutely differs from a regular SOG Knives cordura pattern of old.
The dagger's blade length looks shorter than expected.
The pommel is missing a tang screw.
And if you care to note that the finger guard is a little thicker too.
But most of all, IMHO I don't ever think there was a black SOG Knives Desert Dagger to begin with.

I started suspect something, after the guy mentioned that he has got 4.
And the same doubts like you mentioned about.Too low price for seki knife, sheat without the sog logo. The sog logo on the blade looks like child draw.Top of that never seen black before. So IMO the origin of the knife is really doubtful!

Looks like fake products stardted be common among SOG products.
Therefor would be a nice from Sog, that listing all kind of knife they have ever been produced since the begining. To make it easy for collectors identify some old models before buying.
I think those fake models still effect the company reputation, even if those products was discountioned long ago!

If you look at the picture of the tip, the grind line and the blood groove aren't even centered with each other!

The sad thing about this listing,I dont think we can do anything about warning people the product is fake! And you know where is water, there is always fish to!

Never heard of this one before. I know that M-Tech makes a black knock-off though
