Black DLC coating touch up...

Hey members,

I have a user BM DLC black coating blade....there are obvious signs of wear, but especially on this one side. I am trying to touch it up to make it look better when I retire her.

For my satin blade, I would sand it with fine grit then polish. But black coating? IDK....so any tips is appreciated.
