Acetone and a little elbow grease takes the champagne coating off of the Drop Forged Knives and leaves the nice shiny black coating.

I wonder why they didn't just make them all black like the hunter model?

I agree on the black coating.
As much as I like the DF models I think I'd like some of them even more in black.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are plans for different colors and finishes in the future.
I want this line to grow!
Neck knife, SRK size etc,etc,etc...

I really like the Drop Forged knives, and like you, hope that Cold Steel decides to introduce additional models.
