Anybody know what the coating on the black endura's/delica's is made out of? Is this a Spyderco produced knife, or an aftermarket mod? If it is a Spyderco production piece how many were made?

As far as I can tell, they have a black teflon coat by Spyderco and are a limited edit of about 500-1000. Still I am probably wrong
If we're talking current production, I don't know--hadn't heard about any such goodies coming down the pike. If you've got hard details on current production, particularly with plain edges, e-mail me!
