Crap, I was sitting around reading the forums and studying how you guys wrap the paracord knives and I blacked out. When I came too, apparently I had just ordered a brand spankin new BK 7, 11 and 14 and 200 ft of paracord...... It wasn't my fault, it just happened.....think the wife will buy that?;) at least now I will have some projects to do when I have to sleep in the garage
 
Show her the Kabar website with the msrp and tell her it was a one hour only black Friday sale. Gets em everytime. You were being frugal and waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.

She is out as we speak fighting the Black Friday crowds spending money, so I guess she can't say anything. She has been gone since 6am so we will have to drop the credit cards in water to cool them off.
 
Might as well buy a bk10 from Kabar too. They're only 150. That's a black Friday steal compared to what they go for on the bay. Plus its an LE so its an investment :D. 401ks drop, not le bk10s
 
My wife just tells me I am nuts to Spend 500-1500 on a Microtech, Custom, or whatever new item I pick up. I just explain I am appreciating art. I acquire it or trade for it most of the time and then it goes back out to another person to appreciate it. Aside from my EDCs that is the case. It is my story and I am sticking to it. She does not need to know that I have an EDC for each day of the week. And lets be honest, they have their make up and beauty products.
 
I tried kabars site and I can't find the bk10, I even tried the one site thathas it all. No luck.
 
Search for bk10 still available. It should be a thread started by Kabar that will list their phone number
 
Yeh if you got an extra 158 (8 for shipping) the bk10 is awesome.. and it comes with micarta handles....its my favorite.....

well since I already have the becker I want that are currently in production I bought a spyderco ambitious, persistence, tenacious, resilience, and an esee survival pouch to mount on my BK2 sheath. most of it was on sale. then I went to the store and got a kershaw oso sweet, and it really is. that's all in addition the the skyline and clash and boker mosier I ordered and the CRKT ripple I bought last week.

I didn't even leave the house for black Friday. I refused to be pulled in to the nonsense. Didn't stop me from shopping on line though.
