Black Friday in the Stand

The wife went Black Friday shopping with her Mom & Sister so my little brother & me went deer hunting. Didn't have anyluck, I had one trot thu around daylight but it was so foggy I couldn't get a shot:( But we had a great time & enjoyed the day in the woods:thumbup:

A good day hunting beats a day of shopping any day.
Isn't it great how the Bucks can just stroll past at certain times fully knowing that there is nothing you can do about it.:)

Yeah...but thats all the fun of the Hunt ! Oh & my Fixed blade of the day on my belt was my Breeden Pathfinder & on my pack was my ESEE IZULA !
 
That Breeden is one knife I will own some day. I have wanted one since I first layed eyes on it.

I don't know if he has made anymore of the 7" Pathfinders :confused: This knife is in my regular "Rotation" I really like it ! Bryan makes a sweet knife, Sharpest blade of any knife I own or have fooled with & I have had & fooled with alot...production & custom ! I've got a few of Bryans knives & everyone came to me scary sharp !
 
Awesome Brother.. Got me beat I spent mine racing around NYC in an ambulance , wish I could get out to hunt a bit this year..

It was probably yours that I saw pics of. I remember asking Bryan what the longest Pathfinder he made was and he said 7 inches. I think it is the perfect size for that blade shape.
 
I'm pretty sure, in each pic of you and your brother... that if you squint REAL hard, you can see a big 12 point buck, in the backround, kinda giggling and pointing!
 
Looks like a great time, I'd rather be in the woods than shopping any day. I don't think I'm going to buy anybody anything for the big C this year. I'm going to give things I made and leave the corporations out of my holidays this year.

Thats nice ! People get to caught up in the material world (me included) & think they gotta have the latest & greatest gizmo going. Did you make that Paracord wrist band I see you wear in your photos or did you purchase it ? I've been thinking about getting one for myself, my local gun store sales them for $10 ea.
