This stuff is really nice and it sands and finishes easier than micarta. It's expensive but worth it.

I am thinking it won't absorb a victims blood like canvas micarta.:)

I really like the blind birds beak detail :thumbup: :cool: ... just curious, how come no eyes? :confused:

No eye's? what eyes? That is the way they are supposed to be. They are 0.275 inch at the ricasso so they are fatty's.

Oh, and they have zero edges on them which can shave hair easily. By far the sharpest busse edge available.

If you look at the pommel as the profile of a birds head... the hole that would be the bird's eye. make sense??? :confused:

You gonna be tossing one of those babies at the stump??? :confused: :D

I hope you are wearing respiratory protection when sanding G10, the glass dust is not kind to your lungs!

oh, yah. I would recommend that with work done on any of the resin impregnated materials and that goes for micarta and fiberglass as well. Not to mention, the worst one of all Carbon fibre.
 
Yes, I am happy with how they turned out and where they came from. But I think I now prefer G10 over miarta. I have to try the black/tan G10 as well.

How was the birds beak modification done? Just modify the blade and you have BBSHSHs!!! Grinducci can do that with no problem, send them to me, I'll give you a "Special" deal! :eek:
