I have a Kershaw Black Gulch #3120, plain edge. I acquired it on a trade with Kershaw for a broken twist knife.
It sports a zinc alloy handle but it is still slightly magnetic. It looks unique, dull silver. There is strong jimping on the about 1/3 of the top of the blade for thumb purchase. This is good as the zinc alloy is slippery and your hand could slide out onto the blade under hard use.
The lock back give a solid lockup, It is easy to release and the thumb notch is large and deep so it is easy to open with a fingernail. There is a good-sized lanyard hole. The checkered black synthetic inserts fit well, look good and it's slippery.
Fit and finish is good. Really a fresh look to this zinc alloy knife. It is a small knife but heavy to me. The clip point bowie blade has a great point and useful belly. The out-of-the-box sharpness is outstanding and the grinds are symetric and pleasing to the eyes.
Nice black velcro closure cordura belt pouch for carry. Looks sweet with the red colored Kershaw label. Vertical (for a regular sized belt) or horizontal (for a small belt) carry.
Made in Japan.
I think that these are disco but I am not sure.
