Black hardware,Para2

I was kind of surprised to see black hardware on this camo Para2 that came in today.

 
This knife has exceeded my expectations.The blade centering is perfect,deployment is smooth and the lock up is rock solid with zero blade play in any direction.They did a great job getting really tight tolerances on all the parts.The only thing I plan to change is the pocket clip for tip up carry, to have the pivot area pointing down to lessen it's exposure to dirt and sand.The folks at Golden did an outstanding job!:thumbup:
 
I ordered one today, i also requested the black hardware, i got the black G10 handle though, i can't wait to get it.
 
where are these coming from? because i would like to have the black hardware on the black blade and handle when i order mine as well.

I Got this one from knife center,they stock lots of knives and do a high volume of sales so you're likely to get one that's recently new from the factory.I know the newer black on black para2s are coming with black hardware.I talked to a guy at the factory store last week and he told me the camo models all have silver hardware,so I was surprised this one had black hardware.
 
I just got my para2 black blade with camo handle a couple weeks ago and it also has the black screws and clip, looks alot better in my opinion then the silver screws with the black blade
 
My main concern when I ordered it was to get a black pocket clip but the black hardware gives it a mil-spec look.Even the lanyard hardware is black.I wish they made this 40 years ago when I was in the Army.It should be a big seller in the SF store at Ft.Bragg.LOL,that is if it's still there.:o
 
I finally ordered my Para2 on Friday with camo handle; it was a hard choice between the black blade and the stainless. I ended up going with the stainless blade; should be here
tomorrow or Thursday.

From what I have been hearing I am getting more excited for it; sounds amazing.
 
I ordered mine from KnifeWorks.com It has black hardware. Looking at that DigiCamo Para 2 really makes me wanna buy another one :)
 
I have the same digicam, black blade model but with the stainless hardware. I always wondered about the color combination seeing other models with the black hardware. I wish I could send mine in to have it change out. :(
