Black Hawk Blades Crucible: How's it been holding up?

I was impressed (that's coming from someone who doesn't like liner locks) when I handled one sometime ago and a lot of searching turned up nothing but praise and endorsements about this folder.

Fankly though, if I'm going to invest in something I'd want to know it's actual field performance with some long-term impressions by the owners. So how has it been treating you? Is the lock-up still good 'n tight after several months use? Would you still recommend it glowingly as the first time?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Yet to use mine for anything other than edc duty, but seem to be great. No difference in lockup from 4 months ago. I would buy (or have blackhawk send it to me) again.

Thanks man, especially coming from one of "the teams" :p  How 'bout the blade's edge handling?

I own a crucible folder and I must say that it is awesome. The ergonomics are fantastic and the wide ATS-34 blade cuts and holds an edge really well. The liner lock fits really well too. The only problem that I have with it is that I think the blade is too thin and might break if used in real combat situations however unlikely that may be.

Thanks for your thoughts man (trying to save-up for one)! I also have sort of a similar design wish on the blade: a full flat grind instead of the false edge on the spine.
