HHH Knives constructed this knife for me. I want to get back into Cowboy shooting and wanted a knife that matched my Ruger Vaquero Pistols. I replaced the wood grips on the pistols with buffalo horn some time ago. As beautiful as my pistols are, they really fade in comparison with this knife. I can promise you that this picture isn’t giving this knife justice. It is just a work of art.

Beyond that the ergonomics are exceptional, it is very well balanced, and you could shave with it if you wanted to. I’m very happy with this knife.

HHH Knives, Thanks again…

Frank

Thanks for the write up and the opportunity to make your knife. May it serve you well.

Those scales are beautiful. It would be great to see that knife next to the Ruger :)

I like this one. I need to play with some buffalo horn at some point.

Is it just me, or was this knife designed with a reverse grip in mind?

Thanks for the comments! I would love to see the knife and gun together in a photo myself!!! :)

Storm Crow. This knife was designed with that in mind.. also the rear groove allows for IMO better control in most grips. Its something I have done on 2 of our designs, This one, The Black Hawk and also a drop point I call a Red Hawk Hunter.

Stay Sharp!
