Merry Christmas guys. I would like to show you one more dagger. Maybe this is not the most original name , but it sure looks to me like a hornet. The shape is similar to my last one. This time the handle materials and colors are my idea. The blade is stainless steel - you can check it's chemical composition here - http://www.zknives.com/knives/steels/becut.shtml . The butt cap is empty .30-60 shell.
Steel - Becut 57-58 HRC.
OAL - 321mm (~12.6")
Blade - 190Х28Х4,7 mm (~7.5x1.1x0.18") flat grinds with secondary bevel
Blade - finish - p800 and etched decoration
Handle - wenge wood, stabilized alder burl and spalted beech, bronze
Leather sheath
