this is a safe queen..actually it was so far back in my safe I forgot I had it...you know..bottom shelf way in back..anyway

mint new in box Black Jack Marauder MKII

I believe this knife was made circa early 90s. It comes with leather sheath and is a IMPRESSIVE 20" with a blade length of 15"

as I said before the knife is mint. It was stored in my safe for a decade never used or carried. I have no idea of the steel

leather snap on sheath shows a little cracking but hell its 15 year old leather...

Do you at least happen to know if it's stainless or not. If so, it should be easy to figure out what steel it is.

Marauders were AUS-6 as far as I know. A.G. Russell has this info about that steel:

Another Japanese stainless, fits between 420 and 440A. Carbon 0.55 - 0.65%, Manganese 1.0%, Chromium 13.0 -14.5%, Nickel 0.49%, Vandium 0.1 - 0.25%.

Not trying to say you're wrong on your own knife, that's just the info I have from 2 other Marauder sales. In any case this is a cool knife and a good price. I have the Blackjack Reinhardt Combat Kukri from 1994 and a bunch of other big knives, and am having trouble justifying this one, as cool as it is. Maybe if I keep looking at it! But then I always seem to end up with more knives... (-:

Thanks,

Norm

Ren try contacting TOM CAREY of the Blackjack Collectors forum, he would most probably snatch this girl up sir....Just a thought :)
Loandr.

Its a shame; I'll have to keep on looking.

I've had shipped over a good few knives and never had any real problems other than having to pay taxes to the HM Customs for new stuff. I've been about for a good while and not going anywhere, so if you change your mind give us a call/email.

The one I lost and want to replace had a green handle.

Good luck
