Black Kershaw Storm

Hey All, I just came across an all Black Storm and was curious how this knife performs??? Can you give me some feedback/info on this design. It appears to be a very durable knife and looks to be an awesome cutter/slicer.

I've seen it in the silver color, but the black is more appealing to me :). Of course my favorite color is black, like black blades:rolleyes:, and my real nickname is "RAVEN" ...Hmmmm??? All info, comments, advice, and opinions welcome ;).

Rook, the all black Storm (1740BLK) is the smaller of the two. A 3" blade in 13C26 DLC coated, it's a frame lock non-AO. 410 stainless handle with Trac-tec inserts like the Blur.

I don't own the smaller one. I have a few Storm II's (3.5" blade and about 3/4 of an inch longer overall) and they are well worth the money. I like the blade shape, and the knife opens quick and smooth. Having a frame lock at this price point is a bonus, too. KO designed.
 
Curiosity Got The Better Of Me :rolleyes: ... Just pushed the "Buy Now" button :p!!! Seems I'm getting ADDICTED to Kershaw.

Have 2 Kershaws on the way soon ... Another Packrat and now the Black Storm. The Girlfriend thinks I have issues ...of course she gets a kick out of flicking every new knife I get, sometimes even before I have a chance to open them first :p. Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

Don't forget that there are many fine Kershaws that the GF would like. A black and pearl Leek comes to mind. :)

Or how about these...
Pink Leek(KS1660PINK) or Chive (KS1600PINK)
Rainbow Leek (KS1660VIB), Scallion (KS1620VIB), Centofante-Onion (KS1615BLKVIB) or Chive (KS1600VIB)

There are many more, but that is all I can think of at the moment.

I got hooked with my first Kershaw. KS1660CB Composite Leek.
I loved that knife... until I got my JYDII CB.:D I gave my Leek to my nephew.
