Black Leatherman Charge Ti

If I can be forgiven a bit of silliness...

Regarding the black Leatherman Charge Ti: Can anybody tell me about the finish on these? Is it prone to scratching, scuffing, etc.? IOW: Is it going to end-up looking like crap with use?

I generally don't care for coatings on my blades, but I have to admit, the black Charge Ti looks kinda neat

Someone posted pics here not long ago. IIRC, the answer is yes, it wears quickly, but some of the steel parts may be less subject to corrosion.

I have a black Wave, about a year old now. It is developing a nice patina where it gets handled - a little less matt than originally. Couple of bits on the jaws of the pliers shining through. I still like it.
