  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Black Lip MOP

I'd say it depends on how bad it is, if not to bad,
fine sanding to about 1200 -1500 grit then buff lightly with white rouge ( do not over heat it )
if in worse shape then start with courser grits :)

It appears to be surface scratches, very light, I want to hand finish, so is there a hand rubbed polish, or would polishing compound, and carwax do?

car paint buffing compound may work for you
wax would just fill in the scratches
but once sanded to 1500 grit it would only take 1-2 minutes to
buff them out if you can find someone with a buffer
if you don't have one yourself. :(

Between home and work I have access to lots of equipment, so I'll give it a shot and post the results later.

Thanks Dan.
