I buy from Sheffield all the time and didn't realize they carried it. I'll call Ann tomorrow.

McMaster only carries the nat linen stuff.

As an aside, I have never used Micarta rod, which I assume is used for pins? Do the rods/pins do the job for preventing scales from shearing?

Yes Micarta Rod will work fine...
You would have to destroy the handles before the Micarta rods would fail... Ask me how I know this!
