Hey guys,

I am trying to find one of those black nylon pouch type sheaths for my father's Black Bucklite I think his is labeled 422 on the blade. Anyone know where to get a replacement like that?

Thanks in Advance,

this is the full size knife like the ranger model or hunter I cannot remember. he has one in black withb a black sheath I have one in green with a camop sheath.

I NEED to find him another one.

There is a pretty good size diference between the Ranger, Model 112, at 4-1/4" closed and the Hunter, Model 110, at 4-7/8 closed. IF your father's knife is a 422, smaller this sheath on eBay will fit it. You can also order Sheath # 45015S direct from Buck here.

Hope this helps !!! :D

I saw those on Buck's website but they aren't like the original sheath. I'm kinda partial to the original style sheath. Figured this would be the best place to start looking.

also his is just like mine save its a different color. It says 422 on it. and the sheath is a pouch style that has velcro across the top. You just mash both ends together to close...this make sense? I am trying to get a digital camera to take a picture of mine to display the sheath style.

I really like my nylon 422 sheath, hangs low and no cover flap, some velcro holds the back and front together at the top. I don´t know if it´s still around, I don´t think it is. The desing is good and simple, should be inexpensive and easy to make one.

I would like to see this type of sheath made for knives and other things like multitools, etc.

thats the one I'm lookin for! these are pre 1986 models btw since they have no date stamp mark.

I have several older BuckLites in my collection, with the OEM sheaths and know, exactly, what style you are looking. Unforunately, Buck no longer offers that style sheath with any of the knives in current production. Sorry !!!! The sheaths I pointed you to are the only "Buck" sheaths I know of that would fit the 422. Possibly someone here might have some extras they would be willing to part with....

Good Luck!!!! :)

thanks for the help :) also what kind of steel is the blade made with on these older bucklites?
