Black palm wood - photos?

I'm looking at ordering a custom 119, and can't decide if I like the black palm wood enough to pay $55 extra. Does anyone have decent photos of it on a knife? On Buck's website it looks very similar to the phenolic handle. Thanks!

I remember seeing that thread, now. I had forgotten about that BOTM, now I wish I'd grabbed one. Those photos show a lot of character in the wood, which I like. Thanks a lot for the link!

Palmwood can take on very different appearance depending on the bias of the cut in relation to the wood's fiberous bundles.
Compare my pictures with the 102 above where the fiberous bundles are more aligned with the length of the handle.

The 110 I show here is a build out from 2012 (110BO13) using a 2005 blade.
It is not from the current Custom Shop but the only 110 I had to show with Palmwood.
Here because the slabs are thin the appearance is closer to a cross cut thru the bundles.

I ordered this 119 with Black Palmwood from the custom shop in 2017.
Viewed from the top it is more of a diagonal cut.
