black Police? (not polical!!!)

So I have this Spyderco Police with the G-2 blade made in Japan and black blade as well as black stainless scales. It does have a hint of pocket wear as well as some finish rubbed off around the pivot but otherwise its pretty much mind. Edge appears original and still sharp but not quite razor sharp like they come from the factory. I don't know and I don't care how valuable or collectable this knife is but its a nice addition to my collection. Thoughts on whether I should send it in to Spyderco to sharpen the Spyderedge fully serrated blade? I could probably do well on my Sharpmaker but its really just a shelf queen at this point so why?

"I could probably do well on my Sharpmaker". I would(and have)send it to Spyderco and practice on a POS Knife. Can you post pictures?
 
You could bring it back with your Sharp Maker pretty easily. That said, sending it to Spyderco is simple if you arent comfortable doing it yourself.

Spyderco did a great job on an old Dodo I sent back to them.
