Black Police

Does Spyderco still make the Police model in all black?
I got mine in '94 and haven't seen another. Value, assuming
mint condition?

Ugly IMO but those Police models sure do cut like beasts.

You can probably get a regular Police model and have a gun finishing company apply one of those high end finishes to it.

Hey K. Williams,

That is a great idea. One of those "why didn't I think of that?" things. Do you have any suggestions, i.e. particular companies or coatings? Do you have any idea of the cost? If it's too expensive, maybe I should just pay BladeArt $190. The good thing is that the Spydie at BladeArt is somewhat collectible; but, if I have my Police coated (if it's not too expensive), I know I can beat the crap out of it and have it re-done if the coating gets too ugly.

God, I love the C07's with BlakTi coating. Have 4 in Spyderedge and 1 Plain. The coating tones down the knife enough so that it can be carried with out showing to badly and it also makes it less "slick".
