black puuko + seath

hi guy's here we go again
i just made this knife for a friend.
rhombic blade from 52100 triple hardening mr.fowler's way. here some spec's.
tapered blade11,5cm.long 4mm. near bolster tail pined.
buffalo horn handle 11cm long.hammered brass bolster.
on the blade i polish only the bevels i let the rest with the hardening black color. seath coming soon

sorry for the bad quality of the foto's but it was near dusk,and my photografic skil's are poor

I like the handle shape alot. Its different than any other puukko handle I've seen but it still looks comfortable and useful.
 
Very pretty. I've made a few Puukkos and appreciate some of the difficulties they throw into the mix.

That's a very striking handle. :cool:
 
Wow, I love that gently sculpted handle on the simple pukko blade.
