black raven date?

all i know, for axes, i dont know about small tools, but they were made in the charleston plant anywhere from 00-45 i think, and round logos are newer, i think.
also, if thats your first, you're extremely lucky
 
this one came out of my grandfathers stuff from 35 years ago it was put out of sight and forgotten. i am glad it has surfaced wished
i had asked my father or grandfather about it.
 
Interesting that you've had no real responses on here about this. Yours' appears to be in good shape (the stamp sure is) and it certainly is a lovely (and useful to boot) keepsake to remind you of your granddad. On fleabay this thing will probably draw plenty of attention and might generate enough moolah for you to buy an economy set of tires or a maybe even a dishwasher.
