Like to share with everyone the newly "Blacked Out" scales on my ESEE-5, and Izula-II...

Thanks! I used RIT powder black dye. Just remove the scales, boil some water in an old pot, add one packet of any color dye you like, soak, and stir for about 20 mins. Then set them on a old towel to dry. I also polished the screws for a more custom look. Put them back on and your ready to go!
 
Another guy did that with Vasoline. I'm sure the two methods have very different results. The Vasoline will wipe off, not be too slick, and wear off after a while. They could be washed back to new(ish).
I like the look, black on black.
 
those do look nice, excellent job.

I think I will do a pair of mine also.....
 
sweetness! almost makes me miss my rc-5...the serial #1941 is neat/kinda ironic too given what it's designed for.

Neat, I'm a fan of the earth tones ESEE uses for their handles, but I can see the appeal of this.
