black Sebenza??

No it is indeed gray, according to the written description. But the way the picture was taken it does look like a black handle. Don't look half bad either, but I will take my woody any day!

Your welcome. Mine is a large with desert ironwood inlays, and it gets carried daily!

But. . .wouldn't it be the stuff to have a "totally blacked out" 'benza ?

Sorry Big Al. . .'fraid that you don't have the only "blue" scaled Sebi !

I actually know a guy who bought one of the infamous black Sebbies unknowingly second hand. Guess what he did? Sent it back to CRK to be "fixed". Big mistake, ya think?

Yes, it is true, I have one (out of 12) of the evil black 'Ninja' Sebbies. These were coated with black Teflon by Les Robertson, and created a lot of enmity, as Chris felt that the tolerances of the Seb were too close to allow for a coating.

Mine opens quite smoothly. I cannot post a picture, as I have refused to pay Photo Point their ransom.

Walt, send me a picture and I will post it for you.

I have a LCD-109 with the blade Teflon coated by Les Robertson. . . Even the thumbstud is coated. lol

Only wish that Les would have done the entire knife in a "black-out" motif.

Walt,
Is it Roguard?

For some reason I got a sudden mental image of a blue damascus blade and NP3 treated handles. It's an awesome image

Walt, great collection.

The black one is fifth on the left.

Owen; the finish is not Rogard. If I had to guess, it would be Tuff-Kote.

Certainly, the only reason to put NP3 on Ti would be for decorative effect, as Ti is corrosion resistant enough on its' own.

Walt

Walt,
Thanks, and yeah, I just like the way NP3 looks

Thought you (or someone) had said something about that Seb being RoGuarded awhile back, but my memory must have played a trick on me. I hate it when it does that.

It wasn't me. I know very well who Robbie Barkkman is, and had a 1911 with NP3 on it, so am familiar with Robbie's finishes.
