So for the last year and a half I've been collecting all this stuff for a PM2 I originally intended to get a 110v then the Maxamet came out and I was going to get that but I missed out.

Now that I'm done getting stuff it's time to buy the knife so I was looking at pictures on the net and all the green scaled knives have a black blade and hardware.

If you had all this junk would you use a black blade and HW, a silver SS blade and HW, or carbon blade and patina it?

CruWear and maybe it patina's, maybe it doesn't. Mine stayed a lot shinier than I expected it to. Apples, oranges, no lasting effect. You can force one if you want to, so at least with CruWear you'll get two out of the three options you're asking about. And it's CruWear!

I'm a stainless steel fan so I vote silver.

A nice stone wash/tumble finish (like on the Shaman) would look fantastic.

Get 52100 and patina it.

I'm getting some really cool purples, blues, and dark yellows after cutting some strawberries with my 52100 para 3. I'm really enjoying this steel and love how easy it is to touch up.

The cruwear at $155 is pretty compelling..this all started with some OD micarta GEC's I wanted a modern along the same lines

Imho a patina blade is ideal.
