Black Strider SNG

Just saw a picture of it on TAD Gear for pre orders.

Curious if anybody has pre-ordered one yet and if $400.00 is pretty much the standard prices for the SNG's.

This would be my first high end (ie. $200.00++) knife if I got it.

My other choice was a Mission Folder with the A-2 Blade in tanto, but I have never handled either.

Any general thoughts or is this an apples to oranges thing?

Red Devil,

An all black SnG is the third version of their series. It's an incredible knife, just a different color. Yes, I gave Evan my credit card info and got on a waiting list.

Quality of the knife? Well, I've often said that the reason I'm a collector is that +/-8 years ago I went looking for a jackknife. Most had shortcomings, so I kept looking.

HAD THE SNG BEEN MY FIRST KNIFE, I would have made it my EDC and quit looking for others. It's thin, it cuts like a chainsaw, it sharpens quickly with great edge retension and the customer service is first rate. I haven't bought a knife since.
