I bought an Ontario Midnight Bagwell Bowie about a month ago that has a black teflon coated blade. My main intention is to display this knife. I touched the blade a couple times and you can see my fingerprints where I touched it. Is Renwax good to use on a teflon coated blade, or am I being too much of a worry wort?

I think you're worrying too much JohnnyRockets. As you use that knife or as the honeymoon wears off, so to speak, the teflon coating will scratch and wear off too. For the time being, however, you can take those (oily) fingerprints off with simplegreen, denat. alcohol, lighter fluid, or perhaps the best yet, WD-40. Just use a coarse napkin or blue paper shop towel to apply the stuff and rub the prints off. Then wax it if you want.

Good luck

EDIT: What a dummy I am. Now I see your intent is to display. Try the WD-40 then Simple Green, then wax.
