I am thinking about getting a Black Tiger Warden for EDC carry In a probably leather sheath. Maybe kydex. Does anyone else EDC a Game Warden? Meaning carrying it everywhere all day? And if so what kind of sheath do you have her riding in. I figure leather would be more comfortable while the kydex is obviously or durable. I will be using the knife for most of my cutting light prying needs, coupled with a Microtech UT7 OTF. Any experienced users please feel free to chime in. -Jeff

most days i carry an oj warden. i use a high ride leatherman sheath. the gw is great for everyday tasks, small enough to maneuver, and large enough to handle most things.

if you intend to use it for light prying, the tiger is a good choice. the coating will protect the blade, and the thickness will handle prying better.

I EDC my wardens. There are three in rotation. Mostly I carry dc black warden (although I carry black tie warden almost as often) in a great kydex sheath made by PiterM. I carry it handle down on my belt, and I put the handle into the back pocket of my jeans - it simply dissapears under a sweater or t-shirt. I much preffere to carry knives this way than carry knives IWB. If I'm in a suit (quite often I have to wear one at work), I put my warden in front chest pocket of my suit - it's small enough to dissapear. In this case I use old Benchmade activator sheath. I widened the hole in it a bit for the warden and cut off the belt loop. It's slim now and holds the blade pretty tight. Of course due to no belt loop you can only carry a knife in pocket while using this sheath. My third warden is a Lep Warden. It's the most heavy one - and I carry it in my jacket pocket, usualy in activator sheath.
Wardens are awesome as EDC fixed blades.

I EDC a flame warden. I use a home-made leather strong side hi-ride sheath. I just finished another sheath that rides lower but I prefer the hi-ride.

I EDC a satin/snake, I've got three sheaths for it (my other GW's are holding down the safe) a Leatherman from the CS that I wet molded, a BB kydex and a Leatherman IWB.

I rotate the sheaths depending on what I'm doing, the kydex for quick access, the other 2 are inside / outside leather, so on the trail the outside, good security fairly easy access. Around town the IWb is great, the knife disappears and you forget its there.

I do carry a GW as EDC sometimes -- and it's a champ. I've used BB kydex IWB (it was great, but actually got sold in a deal with one of my old GW's). Now I'm using a Leatherman IWB and it's awesome too.

The Kydex was smaller (thinner) but the leather is a bit "softer" and "rounder" - even if quite a bit thicker.
