Not on titanium. You cant patina it. But carbon steel maybe. If you got a good dark patina on it then put it in a bag of rocks and shook the crap out of it.Thanks, 115Italian...I was wondering if a black wash finish could be obtained by a forced patina, perhaps with mustard?
That will only get you bronze, purple, and blue. There have been a few threads on blackening titanium but it'll take me some time to dig them up...if I recall most of them involved either oxalic acid (oxyclean) or quenching it in an ammonia solution (Windex) after heating with a torch.Try heat coloring with a propane torch
