Black Widow Axes...opinions? reviews?

I always see these Black Widow axes/hatchets in my Sportsmans' guide catalogs and some places on the net and the look cool and are very reasonably priced so I've been debating buying one to try out. I know they're inexpensive so it's not like I'm making some huge investment but I still wanted to see if any one has had any experience using them and if so how well/poorly do they preform? Do they come sharp and/or hold an edge? Just want to know the basics about them if anybody can help. Thanks

Never seen or heard of them. Sportsman's Guide has a few hidden nuggets, but they sell a lot of junk too. Not saying those are, but I'd be cautious.

Interesting--the head pattern looks German, though I've no clue of its actual country of origin.
