It looks nice and I actually really like it.

I will say though that it seems to only shaped be like a khukri because they're cool, and that It would function just like any other modern heavy duty still fixed blade.

There's nothing wrong with that though because cool factor in a knife that also has some practicality is definitely not a bad thing.

I'm not following. Knives function they way they do because of their shape. So a knife that is "shaped like a khukri" will, to some extent, function like a khukri.

In this case, the knife will be balanced more to the point, because of its "kukhri" shape, and will have more chopping ability (like a khukri has) than a similarly sized knife with a different shape.

A proper Khuk needs more mass , forward balance , and length for leverage . The shape is only one factor . o_O

Yes, and like I said, this knife has the shape of a kukhri giving it more forward balance than a knife that doesn't have that shape. So it would not function just like any other modern heavy duty still fixed blade, as was claimed above. Unless that blade was shaped similarly.

Now will it have the same mass and length as a traditionally sized kukhri? Obviously not.

I like the looks... alot actually.
Would be interesting to take this into the woods with me.

I picked up one these last week, and took it with me for some work in the woods. It may replace my TOPS Bushcraft!

The construction is excellent, as are the ergonomics. It feels like it looks: A small kukri—great for chopping. It would be great for stabby stuff, too, but there’s not enough of a guard that I’d feel comfortable stabbing into anything harder than a ripe watermelon without the possibility of slipping.

The price is... okay. If it didn’t come with an excellent kydex sheath and Tek-Lok, I’d say it was a little too much.

Overall, a knife that functions as well as it looks—and it looks badass.
