Any owners of this knife here? How do you like it? Is the lockup solid? Does the knife seem reasonably well-constructed? Has it developed any play? Have you broken the tip off? :D

Opinions much appreciated.

I have a Blackhawk model 15CR01BK and it is very sturdy. Mine has a wide blade just the opposite of the one you are looking at. The be-warned would never make it into my rotation for EDC due to the blade design. To me it looks like it would have to have a special purpose. No issues with my Blackhawk.

This knife was designed specifically for Martial artists. I defer to them for more in-depth understanding.

I am not a Martial Artist and the BlakcHawk has not been in my daily rotation. I like this very scary sharp knife.

It is an extremely sharp well built knife with a solid Lock-up.

I have not broken a knife tip or blade since I played Mummbeledypeg on concrete in the 1940s.

I do not understand the dire warnings about the thin tip of this knife.

I use this blade shape, Warncliffe/Sheepsfoot/Pruner for many slicing chores, and as a utility knife.

The "Be Wharned" seems to be a fine, very sharp knife that can be used for more than its original purpose.
