Blackhawk Crucible Combo Edge Folder...Opinions?

I read about this knife in Tacticle Knives. It's designed by Kelly McCann, features a 3.25" spear-point ATS-34 blade and a flush-ground high-strength locking-liner mechanism with textured G-10 slabs. Looked great so I ordered one...be here next week. I would be curious to know if anyone has had experience with this piece and how it stands up. Brilliant.....I should of asked you guys BEFORE I ordered it. Well...it looked really good. Anyway...your thoughts?

Got the chance to fondle a pre-production prototype- It's a hand-filling knife w/out being bulky. Very solid w/ good ergos. I was impressed. I have plans to eventually pick one up myself. You won't be sorry.

Yeah, I thought it looked real good and judging from the materials used and the discription of the way it handled I just took a leap of faith and ordered it. It's a limited edition signature model. Thanks much for your input, I appreciate it. I'm somewhat of a collector of tactical knives and I've been let down sometimes when I just get a wild hair and order a piece without researching it. So thanks again.

i kinda like the way they look, havent handled one yet, find it odd that the folder and the fixed blade seem to be priced almost exactly the same, IIRC i havent ever seen that before FB's are usually cheaper as they are simpler to make but go figure i guess.

probably a good knife though imho, would be good to have the folder and the fixed to carry, both have similar handles/balance/etc.

Thanks for the input. I'm really looking forward to receiving this little stinger. I have a feeling it will become my everyday carry piece, should be here any day. I ordered the signature version with Kelly McCann's sig on the blade and a factory serial number stamped in. It's supposed to be one of 500 limited editions. Ya know......they offer a set that includes the folder and the FB. These are limited edition sets also with sig and matching sreial numbers. All that's kinda cool although not necessary of course.
