I'm curious to see if anyone has had any experience with this model as a daily user. The cost appears to have dropped significantly, from the MOD days. Thanks for the help!

I got one. For the price, it isn't a badly made knife. The one major problem is the grind - it is thick and uneven. The knife also came very dull. But all can be fixed with a little work.

A little heavy for it's size. The blade diameter is pretty thick at top, the liners are solid, and the G10 scales are pretty thick. Very smooth out of the box and good lock-up. No need to break it in. The AUS 8 blade needs more sharpening than the MOD version. The G10 pattern is too rough and will tear up your pants if you dont lightly sand them down. Overall, a lot of knife for the price.

The fit and finish on mine was excellent, and certainly up to "made in Seki-Japan" standards - I was impressed. Good lock up and nested liners.

I just didn't care for the ergonomics so I sold it.
