Blackhawk Industries gloves

A few days ago I ordered a pair of PeaceMaker shooting gloves from Blackhawk Industries and shortly after received an email order confirmation. So far so good. This morning I fired off an email to Blackhawk to inquire about the UPS tracking number and was greated with this email message a few hours later.


Hello,

The gloves are part of our new 2002 Product line and will be available on or about the 15th of February.

How nice of them to neglect to mention this when I placed the order!

It's tough - I know. I'm waiting on mine also - I'm still hoping that they will get 'em out before that.

On a side note, talked to the company and they said that orders were allowed early on the website because of the volume of calls that they were recieving about the gloves. Kind of like a beat the rush kind of thing for us.

I could not find any information about the release date on their website so I'll pass on that info to them.

I ordered a pair of the SOLAG gloves in late November, and they just arrived today. They're worth waiting for.
 
I ordered the gloves directly from BlackHawk....

It's not the waiting that bothers me so much as not being told up front that they weren't in production yet. That kind of thing always strikes me as a tad dishonest. I should have been told in my order confirmation that there was going to be a delay....I wasn't told anything until I asked for the UPS tracking number a few days later. They should have told me that I was pre-ordering something they weren't making yet.
Ok, I'll stop ranting now before someone out there tells me to go check my string....
