blackhawk or eagle

Hmmm...That's a real flip of the coin - both are great :)

I'm sure you'll have no complaints with either.

Have fun!

I dont have any experience with Eagle but I've been using Blackhawk gear for awhile and have been very impressed. Its a little pricey but you get what you pay for. BTW, Blackhawk also provides a no questions asked lifetime warranty against breakage.

Eagle Industries is made in the good old USA.

Their stuff has served me well and is worth the money.

I have equipment from both, and it is all superb in quality and design. Both companies make excellent products and you can't go wrong by selecting from either one. It all depends on personal preference as each uses some different design pieces in their equipment.

At least for slings I'm a big fan of Eagle. Having owned both, I can say that the BH *appear* to have a better/thicker strap, but my Eagles keep on ticking. Where the Eagle excels is functionality/versatility.

Their slings are all truly ambidexterous (I'm lefty), and have a quick-release buckle if you need to get out of it/switch to your weak shoulder.

And at $22 from Lightfighter http://www.lightfighter.com/category.html?UCIDs=1049504 you can't go wrong.

...of the brands I seen/used...

1) Tie: Eagle and SOE
2) London Bridge
3) Blackhawk and Tactical Tailor
