Blackhawk pack?

I browse a popular auction site on the regular, just checking out what people are selling and today I made typo. I only entered Becker BK in the search box and a blackhawk pack came up . Nice looking pack and the seller states it was designed by Ethan. I'm sure that's true and its been asked before but I had to check and hear info and reviews about it. Because I'm intrigued to say the least.
 
ethan has designed at least two packs, for eagle industries... the original (small) patrol pack, and some larger super-rucksack...

later, they came up with a molle version, but afaik, that's not Ethan's design.

then Eagle got sold (at least once), and the problems with quality occurred. as well as compensating Ethan for his design ;) okay, there's a story there, but that's for him to tell.

amusingly, they look similar to the original i saw last weekend. not sure they're worth $200+

more amusingly, chinese knocksoff can be had for like $20
 
The one I saw is in the $70 range (for now) is there any tell tale.signs for the higher quality packs versus the ones with cost saving shortcuts? Its the patrol version and from the pics looks like a useful pack. When will Ethan get into designing furniture and home appliances so all my stuff can be Becker?

I've been looking for a solid black mircowave that I can baton through a tree stump and use to cook my favorite pizza related snack in the woods!

When I was looking for a new heavy use bag this year I stumbled upon this after receiving my Rush 24. Hind sight? I'd probably pick this up instead. Heck, if I had $70 bucks I'd probably get it. Fanboyism aside it looks like a really nice bag.

clue one: made by eagle industries, and not recently iirc.

definitely a useful design. i saw the listing black. packs cost stupid money it seems. get what works for you :>

well, Ethan has designed climbing equipment, and lately kitchen knives (see the video). i've seen his chicken tractor :>

unfortunately, he's German, so moving parts... not so much :D :D :D :D

mmm, Ethan Allen.... Ethan Becker... mmm.

quaking aspen :) aka populus tremuloides have been observed to tremble :> tremuloiding ;)

right. so i used an ice comet to focus the entire output of the sun for a moment, making baked alaska. the state that is :)

Prometheus was momentarily amused i'm told.

So..damn...true. Especially the sex part.

OT, I don't know exactly what model packback you're talking about and I don't know wether or not Ethan really designed it or not, but you know people will say anything to sell something. And, as you already know, Becker is a nice name to throw on anything. :) Either way, I've been looking at the small patrol packs and all that because I really need one, and there's so many packs on the market it's hard to choose. I do know that Blackhawk sells alot of packs. Alot of people seem to love those Rush packs so I'd say it's more than likely worth the money if it looks like it will suit you.
 
I found the pack you are talking about. Has some nice roomy pockets in the front. Good looking pack!!
