First--don't buy from Outdoor Pros, they don't protect their products and I ended up getting a blunted blade that UPS dropped on my door step with no signature.:thumbdn:
Second---The feel, weight and ergonomics of the TATANG are awesome!!!! Sadly the finish and quality of the blade are questionable. I would compare the blade feel/quality to stuff I've seen at swap meets. It is a great design. If it were a better blade made in the U.S. I would be the happiest camper. The Michael Janich design is good though.:thumbdn:

Third--buy an Entrek Commando. It's affordable and much higher quality than the TATANG. I'm spending my next knife money on a Destroyer by Entrek. At least I know the design and materials will both be the highest quality and will be made here in the good ol' U.S.of A.

JUST MY OPINION, but seriously-buy the Entrek.

Recently, I purchaed a BLACKHAWK! Tatang and I am wondering if anyone could tell me what the grind of this blade is. Thanks. To reply to this article, even though this blade is made in Tiwan, the quality of it is supurb.

Go for the Destroyer! It's a great blade. You will have to reduce the grind angle somewhat, but you will end up with a sweet chopper when you do. Entreks are great pieces.
